Terms of service

The terms governing use of aleahq.com.

Last updated: 12 June 2026

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of aleahq.com (the "site"), operated by Alea ("Alea", "we", "us", "our"). By using the site you agree to these Terms. Client engagements (audits, sprints, retainers) are governed by the applicable engagement agreement, which prevails over these Terms where they differ.

2. The site

The site provides information about Alea's services, the Transmissions journal, and ways to contact us. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the site at any time.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the site, including by attempting to gain unauthorised access to the publishing system or editor accounts, scraping at disruptive volume, interfering with the site's operation, or submitting unlawful, deceptive, or malicious content through our forms.

4. Content and intellectual property

All content on the site, including Transmissions articles, copy, designs, and graphics, belongs to Alea or its licensors. You may share links to and quote brief excerpts of Transmissions articles with attribution. Republishing substantial portions requires our written permission. Third-party product names appearing on the site (for example, software Alea integrates with) are trademarks of their respective owners, referenced to indicate compatibility, not partnership or endorsement.

5. Information on the site is not advice

Content on the site, including Transmissions, is provided for general information. It is not professional, legal, or financial advice, and you should not rely on it as such. Statements about outcomes describe our experience, not a guarantee of results.

6. Forms and communications

When you submit a form or book a call, you confirm the information you provide is accurate and that we may contact you about your enquiry. Subscription emails include an unsubscribe mechanism.

7. Third-party services

The site is built on third-party services (including Vercel, Neon, Supabase, Clerk, Vercel Blob, and, where offered, Calendly). We are not responsible for those services' availability or for content on external sites we link to.

8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alea will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The date above reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
